I don't know where my words go between thinking them and putting them here.

I spent every minute of my holiday with Grayson and it was perfect.

I guess the words just can't do justice to those moments and memories.

Random Tuesday part 18

So..... I've noticed that my comments have really dwindled down. About that? I'm not happy.

I mean it could be because I haven't had time to comment on your blog because I've been sick (upper respiratory infection) and work is dumb and la la la la. But I NEED validation, people! validate me!

But I am glad my followers haven't gone down (hee hee). I would notice and then I would call that unfollower bad names.

My hair is kinda looking like a skunk. My sister highlighted it for me. It was her first time. You can tell.

I had my first parent teacher conference for my almost 1-yr old. Really.

His sheet says that "He is the best eater I have" - that just makes me smile

He is having transition issues - he's the youngest in the class and I don't think he was quite ready for no bottles and 1 nap a day. But they said he's a sweet kid - And I'm not really sure they are talking about my Grayson.

I'm hoping that I get to put up a big ol christmas tree tonight. I always have big plans until I get home and I'm tired.

I keep trying to get my sister to come clean my house for Grayson's Birthday party. If she was a good auntie she would do it! (I've guilted her through text, facebook, and now blogger)

I saw New Moon. It made me happy. I've read the books. I think Jacob is hot but not really that great an actor. But it's just about the eye-candy, right? Team EDWARD.

I'm sure I will have many crazy nana stories for you after this Thanksgiving holiday.

This should be a wordless wednesday but I still can't find my camera.

Instead today we are going to discuss 1st birthday anxiety.

Things going through my head:

should I have done cupcakes instead of a cake
what if my candy buffet turns out looking like an ass buffet
what if Grayson acts like a total brat
when G acts like a total brat will the guests whisper *oh, he's one of the THOSE kids*
should i have christmas decorations up too - it will be December
what about the super adorable cookies from etsy that haunt my dreams - really worth $30
should I make or buy a cheese tray
should I have other snacks
will my house hold these people
are we supposed to play pin the paci on the baby or some other game
when will I have time to finish unpack and clean
do I balloon or not balloon? helium vs regular? do I go mylar?
omgosh - 1 word - pinata

This is TOO stressful. Not to mention the emotions that go along with my baby being 1 year old.

Yes - I'm aware that I'm a nutcase.

Random Tuesday

I DREAD mondays. Mondays are standing Nana nights. Monday is bad enough without adding in some Crazy.

I swear every time we go out to eat - she asks to sit somewhere other than where the hostess seats us. I think it's an old person ploy for control.

She didn't get a chance to save any children last night. thank god.

I'm cranky today. No reason, really. Maybe it's a crazy nana hangover.

I've lost my camera. I saw it yesterday and then nothin. I keep looking and nothin.

Everyone needs a good ol dose of Grayson cuteness but nothin.

Fantasy Photoshop Friday

I liked last week's post so much we are gonna play again.

I LOOOOOOVVVVEEEE the show Glee. Since I get limited TV time, Glee and Big Bang Theory are the only shows that I have stayed married to. I had to break up with Greys, Criminal Minds, and so many others. Sad, huh? Occasionally I booty call So You Think You Can Dance.

But Glee? I HEART Glee. I want to be on Glee. I would be a fabulous addition. I already have TONS of practice breaking out into song randomly. I could be the pudgy gal with the broken butt and a heart of gold.

Believe it or don't.

First up we have Pizza Joes. I got the original recipe HERE, but I tweaked it to make it even easier.

1 lb hamburger meat - browned and drained
add a drained can of basil/oregano tomatoes
a jar of pizza sauce
1 cup of chopped pepperoni
Warm it up - put it on your toasted bun - add some monterey jack cheese on top

1 small can pumpkin
1 box spice cake
1/4 cup water
Mix it all together. bake at 350 for 30 minutes

I added some plain white frosting. yummo. But I think chocolate chips would be AWESOME.
